Installation on Windows

  • Make sure you have Sun's Java Runtime Environment. If you do not have it yet, you can get it free from java.com.
  • Unzip the downloaded file, and double-click on doubletype.jar.

Installation on Ubuntu

  • Make sure you have Sun's Java Runtime Environment. 
$ sudo apt-get install sun-java6-bin
$ sudo update-alternatives --config java
  • Unzip the downloaded file, and right-click on doubletype.jar and pick Open with "Sun Java 6 Runtime."
    • or 
$ java -jar doubletype.jar
